The property comprised two adjoining modern warehouse/industrial units, totalling about 4,900 sq.ft. Having undertaken an extensive marketing campaign a good level of interest was generated enabling terms to be agreed for the sale of the property to a local investor following an informal tender and within a month.
PROGRESS HOUSE, 215-217 SHRUB END ROAD, COLCHESTER, ESSEX Fenn Wright were appointed by joint LPA Receivers, Richard Haines and Chris Honeywill of Edwards Symmons to act in the freehold disposal of Progress House, 215-217 Shrub End Road, Colchester. The property principally comprised a twin span warehouse with two storey linked offices/stores totaling 18,761 sq. ft. The property formed part of a large rectangular site extending 1.24 acres and benefiting from two planning consents for warehouse development. Fenn Wright assisted the joint LPA Receivers by reviewing and resolving outstanding planning and tenancy issues, and thereafter providing valuation and disposal advice culminating in a local and national advertising campaign. Terms for the sale were agreed after just 5 weeks of marketing following ratification of existing tenancy arrangements.
