MARTIN J FREEMAN FRICS

Martin joined Fenn Wright in 1999 having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1985. He had two positions prior to running his own business from 1991 to 1999, specialising in woodland, environmental and estate management and gained his Fellowship of the RICS in 1995.

He is Partner in Charge of the Rural Division and joined with a strategy to diversify Rural Division income by developing niche agency business, such as fisheries and leisure related property sales. The Fisheries4sale branding is now recognised as a leading player in the market, covering all of the UK and France. Around 50% of such instructions are also developing into other associated leisure areas – eg caravan parks, aquatic centres etc. In addition to the agency, instructions for valuations of such property for lending purposes have now increased.

Martin has two children and enjoys shooting, fishing and following Ipswich Town Football Club. He also has a keen interest in farming and conservation and is a committee member of the Suffolk Game Conservancy Trust.
