Domestic Energy Assessment / HIPS

Taking the lead in looking after clients' interests, Fenn Wright now have their own in-house Domestic Energy Assessors to ensure smooth delivery of HIPs.

As a multi-practice firm, it is important that Fenn Wright lead the way in this new area of the home selling process. Many estate agents will only have third hand experience of the delivery of energy performance certificates, whereas Fenn Wright clients have the security of an inspection carried out by one of their own energy assessors.

Having our own dedicated assessors allows us to provide expertise in this ever changing market and give best advice to our clients. Fenn Wright's portfolio of properties is diverse in its range, selling starter homes to substantial country houses and period properties, some presenting their own complications and challenges when it comes to assessment. 

As buildings are responsible for almost 50 per cent of all energy consumed in the UK, it is vital that we make our buildings more energy efficient. A large proportion of current building stock will still be in use in 2050, so improving the performance of existing buildings is a priority.
