The Floral Lake
Originally excavated for the clay for the Sparrow's brickworks in the late 1800s, the lake was used subsequently used as a local swimming pool in the early part of the 20th century, popular with locals and day trippers from London. The lake is accessed through electric gates onto a tarmacadam drive, with a perimeter wall around the property.

The lake extends to approximately 0.9 acres with depths to over 10 feet, bordered by overhanging trees and lilly pads. The original features of the swimming lake are still visible, including the concrete steps into the lake. A single fishing swim has been constructed on the eastern bank.
