Water and leisure market – summer 2017

The market for all types of water and associated leisure businesses has remained buoyant.

We have concluded more sales of higher value businesses in the last six months than for several years and there are a significant number of proceedable buyers in the market who have not been able to secure or find a property to meet their requirements.

Enquiries from proceedable purchasers continue to increase so we are now seeking new instructions to meet this demand.

Finance
Interest rates continue to be at historic low levels and there is plenty of evidence that the majority of high street banks and other funding sources are active in the market with the majority of commercial loans agreed at 60% loan to value.
