In 2020 George joined Fenn Wright as a Consultant working alongside the existing Ipswich Commercial team, offering professional, valuation and agency services.  Educated at Ipswich School, George went on to do a degree in surveying at Trent Polytechnic before moving to London and starting his career with Healey Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield).

In 1984 George joined Oxborrows in Ipswich and subsequently set up his own practice in 1987 which, following a merger, became EWS Chartered Surveyors in 1990.
