Vacancy Details

Working within a busy and collaborative Residential Lettings team, we are looking for a professional, personable and motivated person to join our team as a Senior Lettings Negotiator.

The successful candidate will be expected to work at the highest standard and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both tenants and landlords. Previous experience is preferred and knowledge of the local area would be a distinct advantage. This role is Monday- Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, working 1 in 3 Saturdays. Where a Saturday is worked a weekday will be given in lieu.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To assist with both new business and business retention
  • Speaking with potential tenants, assessing what their exact needs and requirements are and building rapport.
  • Promoting properties.
  • Arranging and overseeing viewings of properties for potential tenants.
  • Speaking with landlords and other parties involved in the rental.
  • Answering queries from clients and potential clients via email, telephone
  • Negotiating between property owners and potential tenants to find a mutually beneficial agreement.
  • Explaining the tenancy applications, referencing/progressing of application, arranging signing of agreements.
  • Organising the payment of money due.
  • Troubleshooting when problems arise.
  • Keeping administrative systems up to date.
  • Adhering to the relevant guidelines set by law at all times.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience is essential and knowledge of the local areas would be a distinct advantage.
  • Up to date with trends in the local residential lettings market.
