Fenn Wright Building Surveyors Appointed for Major Mansion Block Restoration in London
Our Building Consultancy team is proud to share the latest milestone in our growing portfolio of residential asset management projects. Fenn Wright were recently appointed by a leading leasehold management company to undertake a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Schedule for a substantial mansion block in West London.
This comprehensive assessment provided the client with a clear strategy to maintain the building’s condition, manage lifecycle costs, and prioritise essential works over the coming years.
Following the successful delivery of the report and the value it brought to the client’s long-term planning, we are delighted to confirm that we have been retained to specify and oversee the implementation of the recommended external and internal remedial and improvement works, taking place throughout 2026 and beyond.
This next phase will see our team specifying and detailing repairs, coordinating contractors and engineers, maintaining quality, and ensuring that all improvements are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest professional standard.
Donald Barber MRICS added “It’s always rewarding to be able to continue our involvement beyond the initial reporting. I look forward to seeing this project progress from recommendations to fully realised improvements, ultimately ensuring the longevity of the asset for our client.”
Located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, this late-Victorian mansion house dates to 1895 and features an ornate terracotta portico, iron railings, balconies and an impressive full height turret with a spire.
