Fenn Wright celebrate three years in Woodbridge

06 May 21

In 2018 we opened our tenth branch in the thriving market town of Woodbridge and three years on, we are delighted to be the market leaders in the town that was recently named ‘’Best place to live in the East’ by The Times.

Woodbridge is ideally located for messing around on the river with the Tidemill Yacht Harbour, Woodbridge Cruising Club and Deben Yacht Club all to hand.  Deben Rowing Club, canoeing and kayaking groups and paddleboarders meet regularly too – and if that all sounds a bit too much like hard work, there are plenty of places to put your feet up and just observe.

Known as the ‘gem in Suffolk’s crown’, Woodbridge has plenty to offer residents and visitors of all ages with a great mix of high street stores and independent boutiques and a vast array of bars, restaurants and cafes.  There are some fantastic places to visit nearby too, such as the Anglo Saxon royal burial site at Sutton Hoo and Orford Ness Nature Reserve.

Last year, we were delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Edwards, who joined our Signature team in Woodbridge, marketing the most desirable town houses, country homes and properties with character – of which Woodbridge has an abundance!

Our Woodbridge branch has gone from strength to strength and are now the top selling agents in the area.  Over the past year, in IP12 and the surrounding villages, more sellers have entrusted Fenn Wright to sell their properties than any of our competitors.

We are immensely proud of that achievement but also recognise and respect the efforts of our local competitors in such a challenging year.  Beyond statistics, what really counts is the quality of the service and advice we provide to our clients and we are proud of the feedback we receive that shows we are achieving the standards we set ourselves.

Natasha Harris, Branch Manager at Fenn Wright in Woodbridge commented “Demand for property is at an all time high as the Stamp Duty holiday, low-deposit mortgages and lifestyle changes motivated people to move.  Woodbridge, in particular, has been so in-demand we have been receiving multiple offers on properties and in some cases going to ‘best and final’ bids whilst new stock is selling as fast as we can list it.

We have seen an influx of London buyers registering with us but also people looking to move to Woodbridge from other parts of the county, country and even a few returning home after living abroad.  I think post-lockdown, Woodbridge has everything you could possibly need and more.”
