Fenn Wright Cycle Challenge in aid of Cancer Support Suffolk
The team at Fenn Wright are once again undertaking the challenge of cycling 180km from our most southerly office in Chelmsford, to our flagship office in Woodbridge.
The Partners of Fenn Wright were pleased to announce that our chosen charity of the year is Cancer Support Suffolk, a small organisation based in Ipswich who offer support to cancer patients in our region and beyond. Their dedicated team includes therapists, counsellors, educators and ambassadors and we are thrilled to be able to help raise funds and awareness of the brilliant work that they do.
The Cycle Challenge will take place on Thursday 4th July and is being organised by Building Surveyors, Donald Barber MRICS and Nigel Berry MRICS. The event previously raised over £7,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) in 2018 and saw the team complete the challenge in just under 7.5 hours. Since then, we opened our eleventh branch in Felixstowe on Hamilton Road which will see the route increase by around twenty miles.
Donald Barber commented “Starting in Chelmsford, we will be covering 180km and travelling through the beautiful Essex and Suffolk countryside, before finishing at our office on Quayside, in Woodbridge. I would like to thank the East of England Co-op for generously donating supplies to keep us going throughout the day and I hope we can raise a substantial amount for this great cause.”
The route will start from the Fenn Wright office in Chelmsford and the team will cycle to Witham, Sudbury, Stanway, Colchester, Colchester Business Park, Manningtree, Ipswich, Kesgrave, Felixstowe and finish in Woodbridge.
