Fenn Wright’s Valuation team is one of the most established in the region. We specialise in full ‘Red Book’ valuations, which cover all asset types – Residential Buy to Let, HMOs, High Net Worth specialist lending, Commercial, Development and Redevelopment valuations.
Our team of 14 RICS Registered Valuers have a combined experience of over 230 years and undertook approximately 750 valuations in 2025. Our skilled Valuers are experts in delivering valuations in accordance with the RICS Valuation Global Standards 2025 and are experienced in managing large portfolio valuations, as well as providing advice on complex development schemes.
As part of our ongoing growth, we are expanding our valuation services with the opening of a new office in Basildon. We already have strong links to South Essex, regularly visiting key commercial hubs including Burnt Mills & Pipps Hill Industrial Estate, Southend Airport Business Park and active retail areas such as London Road, Basildon High Street, Leigh Broadway, and Southend High Street.

We act as panel valuers for several major high street banks, providing independent assessments of value to support lending decisions for commercial finance and BTL.
Expert Witness Reports
We produce reasoned, unbiased opinions of value for use in legal proceedings or dispute resolution, fully compliant with Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and Civil Justice Council (CJC) Guidance.
Financial Accounting Valuations
We undertake valuations to support financial reporting requirements, including balance sheet valuations and internal accounting exercises, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Probate Valuations
We provide valuations to assist executors and advisers in administering estates and meeting HMRC reporting and compliance obligations.
Landlord and Tenant Valuations
Our Valuers can support with independent valuation advice for upcoming rent reviews and lease renewals, as well as handling ongoing negotiations where required.
Taxation Valuations (Including 1982 and Retrospective Valuations)
We can provide valuations for taxation purposes, including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax, as well as historic valuations such as 1982 Act or other retrospective valuations.
