New Fenn Wright branch now open in Felixstowe
We are pleased to announce that we have opened the doors to our newest branch in Felixstowe, making this the eleventh Fenn Wright office in our portfolio.
The branch in Felixstowe is primarily focused on residential sales and lettings and is the latest addition to our growing network of branches throughout Essex and Suffolk. This expansion is a positive step for the firm, which was founded in 1768, and further cements our position as the market leaders in East Anglia.
Managing Partner, Joseph Hall commented “We are delighted to have opened this new sales and lettings branch in Felixstowe after a challenging 18 months and I am proud of our team for making it happen. The office is in a great location in this thriving town and we have already received positive feedback and a warm welcome from the local community.”
Our Felixstowe team were working from Woodbridge last month and listed more new instructions in IP11 and parts of IP10 than any other agent, according to Rightmove data. Beyond statistics, what really counts is the quality of the service and advice we provide our clients and we are proud of the feedback we receive.
Demand for property is at an all time high as the Stamp Duty holiday, low-deposit mortgages and lifestyle changes motivated people to get moving. Felixstowe, in particular, has been so in-demand we have been receiving multiple offers on properties whilst new stock is selling as fast as we can list it.
We are currently marketing Balfour Place, a prestigious development of five unique 3 and 4 bedroom homes with sea views, where prices start from £1,150,000. Another landmark instruction is St Mary’s Nursing Home, a fantastic development opportunity which is currently on the market with a guide price of £1,900,000.
Felixstowe is seeing a surge in popularity having undergone a programme of investment and regeneration in recent years. In 2017, the pier reopened following a £3million makeover and more recently, plans were approved for a new £1million beach hut village and activity park. The town has a strong sense of community and properties range from new and converted apartments offering panoramic sea views, to large, detached homes packed with period features. Properties in Felixstowe still represent very good value for money with the average house price over the past year being £293,779, compared to £619,695 in Aldeburgh and £668,848 in Southwold, according to Rightmove.
