Waterfront House, Wherry Quay, Ipswich, Suffolk
We acted on behalf of Baylight Properties in the acquisition of this landmark waterfront office building for conversion into a new visitors’ centre. Believed to date from the late 18th or early 19th century, the property extends to over 21,000 sq ft arranged across six floors. Renowned for their high‑quality renovations and developments, Baylight will bring their expertise to this prime property, enhancing its quality and appeal and delivering a welcome new attraction for the town in the form of ‘At Home with Clay’. Acting for the vendor we secured the sale of this prominent 31,772 sq. ft. building, formerly Colchester Kawasaki, located on Commerce Way, Colchester. The property comprises a showroom, modern offices, workshop and mezzanine floors all within a one-acre site. The site has been acquired by Yem Yom Ventures, food wholesalers.

Hangar 2, North Weald Airfield, Merlin Way, Epping, Essex, CM16 6HR
On behalf of our client, we completed the letting of Hangar 2 at North Weald Airfield to a confidential tenant. The property comprises a substantial former aircraft hangar with office accommodation, situated on a secure 2.48 acre site with excellent access to the M11.

We acted on the sale of this high-quality office building to East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust for conversion into a Community Diagnostic Centre. The property occupies a central business district location on Museum Street, close to Ipswich’s prime retail area, and extends to 13,300 sq. ft. over three floors. ESNEFT will be undertaking significant investment in the property to provide more efficient and more cost-effective healthcare services in the Ipswich area.
