Off at a gallop
Since launching during the first week of February, the website has both attracted sellers of equestrian properties in Suffolk and Essex, and found purchasers for some existing featured properties, both for Fenn Wright and for associated agents using the website to publicise homes for horse lovers in their parts of the country. In the past few weeks, a mobile website has been added, which functions like an ‘app’, but without the need for downloading.
Three highly influential agents have joined the site recently: Windsor Clive International markets top equestrian stud yards and commercial yards nationally; Batcheller Monkhouse focuses on equestrian homes in Sussex, Surrey and Kent, and ECR Properties, run by Emily Cooper-Reade, deals with specialist homes across East Anglia including in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
Sponsorship of the Horse and Hound online property pages and extensive marketing in the magazine have also seen an increasing amount of traffic to the site, which is now attracting between 475 and 500 visitors per day, 50% of whom are new to the site.
Fenn Wright’s equestrian property specialist Charlene Goudkuil, herself an accomplished rider and competitor at national horse shows, has been at the forefront of the re-launch and is delighted with the response.
“We are seeing visitor numbers to the site growing day by day, and this in turn gives confidence to our hand selected affiliated agents who are invited to use equestrianproperty4sale.com as a platform to market their equestrian properties,” she said.
“We choose our associated agents carefully to represent different areas across the country, and now have a broad representation from Yorkshire in the north down to Somerset and Devon in the south west, with a strong core in the heart of England as well our own business here in the east.”
Charlene added: “We are now actively looking for more equestrian properties to market. We offer an outstanding service to owners of existing equestrian properties of all shapes and sizes from cottages with an acre and a stable, to full-blown racing yards, riding stables or studs, and not forgetting properties that would lend themselves to equestrian use with a bit of work. If you are thinking of selling and would like a chat and an initial free valuation, please do contact the Equestrian team at Fenn Wright on 01206 216542.”
