Promoting talent within Fenn Wright

As part of our ongoing commitment to recognising talent, we are delighted to announce a number of promotions as we enter the new financial year. Promotions include John Birchall MRICS and Miranda Sandison FCCA, who join the Fenn Wright partnership team as Equity Partners, Hamish Stone MRICS and Callum Jacobs who take up the position of Associate Partner, and Karl Sorrell and MK Bell who assume new management roles within our Lettings division.
John Birchall started his career with Fenn Wright in May 2016 before being promoted to Head of Valuation Services in July last year. John has been instrumental in the growth of this area, providing formal valuations to lenders, pension funds, and both corporate and private clients.
Miranda Sandison joined us as Finance Director in 2020 following a successful early career in banking, and more recently in the legal sector with Nockolds and Tees Law. With many years’ experience in professional services, Miranda now has responsibility for the Finance and Operations teams at Fenn Wight.
Hamish Stone started as a Commercial Surveyor in 2016 and soon became an integral part of our award-winning commercial agency team. Hamish has an MSc in Real Estate from the University College of Estate Management and became a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2021.
Callum Jacobs began his career in the lettings sector in 2006 and started working in our Ipswich Residential team in 2016. He has established himself as a valued member of the valuation team and is also Manager of the Woodbridge branch.
As our lettings portfolio continues to grow, we are pleased to announce that Karl Sorrell has accepted the position of Business Development Manager and will focus on generating new business and maintaining client relationships, whilst Maire-Kate Bell has taken over the position of Lettings Manager.
Karl is approaching his 9th year with Fenn Wright and brings a wealth of experience to the role, having managed the lettings team since 2020. Karl has taken on some large portfolio clients over the past couple of years, including Legal & General, and by stepping away from day-to-day management, can focus on his new role. MK has previous experience of managing a lettings team; her warm and sensitive approach give confidence to both landlords and tenants and mean she has gained a huge amount of respect from the team.
We hope you will join us in congratulating them on their new positions with Fenn Wright.
