Spring styling trends for 2025

01 May 25

Spring is the perfect time to refresh your living spaces and our team have put together a few of their favourite interior trends to help you transform your space, including eco-friendly materials, daring designs and timeless classics.

Sustainable and eco-friendly décor

Strike a chord with nature and embrace natural, organic materials , with recycled glass vases, jute or sisal rugs, and fabulous furniture made from reclaimed wood.  This textured 100% Jute rug has a herringbone border that comes in a variety of colours and is available in a range of sizes.  Prices start from £55, available from Dunelm.

Soft pastels

Synonymous with spring, pretty pastels such as lavender, mint and blush pink add a subtle yet sophisticated hint of colour.  An upgrade on white, this soft pink paint is a wonderful way to refresh your walls and add a delicate pop of colour.  A 2.5 litre tin in Pink 04 Matt is available from Lick for £45.

Statement hallways and bold bathrooms

These functional and often neglected spaces are a great place to dare to be brave, either with vibrant colours in jewel tones, statement walls or pattered tiles.  These beautiful porcelain tiles in Ocean Blue are available from Ca’ Pietra for £88.80 per square metre.

Mellow yellow

Dulux’s colour of 2025 is ‘True Joy’ with butter yellow emerging as a new favourite.  The colour of sunshine and daffodils, yellow has long been associated with spring and can add a peaceful, comforting warmth when incorporated into your living space.  This ceramic earthenware London Brick Vase is £40 from Stolen Form and available through local stockists.

Coastal elements

Whilst the classic combination of blue and white is unlikely to ever go out of style, beachy accents are making waves in the world of interiors.  To achieve the look and avoid coastal cliches, go for powdery blues or sculptural decorative items such as this realistic white ceramic coral from Graham & Green for £68.

Biophilic design

What better time to bring the outside in and embrace nature.  By incorporating plants and natural finishes like stone and wood, this concept aims to promote wellbeing and create a calming habitat.  This Purifying Plant Bundle from The Little Botanical is available from John Lewis for £55.
