We are loving our new home in Woodbridge
Since opening our doors in April this year to a new life in Woodbridge, we can truly say that we feel very much at home here.
Taking pride in being labelled the ‘flagship’ branch and being the tenth office within the Fenn Wright collection throughout Essex and Suffolk, our physical presence and eye-catching branding has certainly turned heads.
Our home at Nunn’s Mill, Quayside forms part of the new Whisstocks development and we are settling in nicely. So much so that you get the sense of the seamless integration and natural acceptance by the town and community that it was always meant to be.
Being a short walk from the Thoroughfare and highly visible to passing traffic, the location of the office, between the Riverside restaurant and Hamblin Road, makes for an appealing mix of accessibility and convenience for our existing clients and those new to the Fenn Wright experience.
As part of the strategy to solidify our roots within the area, we joined forces with the highly respected and established estate agent Neals, acquiring the business to coincide with the opening of our Woodbridge office.
For over 65 years, Neals had a reputation of integrity, unmatched customer service, and transparent agency practice, giving a much admired straight-forward approach. Marrying the two compatible brands has made for an interesting fusion, with the output being favourable for all connections due to our growing residential, lettings, commercial, land and agriculture portfolios.
James Neal, son of the founder, Dennis HB Neal, joined us as Associate Partner and has certainly brought a unique blend of local contacts and expert knowledge. His steadfast approach to estate agency further cements our business commitment and values and we are very much enjoying James’ effervescent layer within the team. After forty-eight years at the coal face in Woodbridge, James found it very strange to allow his car to take the journey to Nunn’s Mill rather than his previous office in Church Street. He says, “Life after Neals has been both a challenge and a delight. I couldn’t have wished for a warmer welcome from the Fenn Wright team and only a little less appealing has been the air-conditioning in our latest flagship office.”
Hoping to replicate the success of our other Suffolk offices in Ipswich, Kesgrave and Sudbury, the man at the heart of our Woodbridge operation, Charlie Wright, Partner, says, “Everyone we speak to has been hugely supportive of the new Woodbridge office, they comment on the impressive design and location, as well as the superb window display. It is an exciting time for me personally, with the merger of Neals, who were based in Church Street. Working closely with James Neal is a joy and he is a walking encyclopaedia of Woodbridge! We are really embracing this new chapter at Quayside. Expanding our offering within this incredible market town was definitely a move in the right direction for us.
