Ann-Marie started her career with a local Suffolk brewery in her hometown of Southwold. Working for over 30 years across all areas of the business, leading to supporting the Ops team and EA to the Ops Director, who later became COO and won East of England Businesswoman of the Year.  Following a short break to start a family and set up a wine business on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border, Ann-Marie returned to Suffolk.  She stayed in administrative support roles, working for Sixsmith Build and Wilderness Reserve, before moving on to work for Clarke and Simpson in Framlingham as a PA to one of the partners in the Residential team.

More recently, Ann-Marie worked as part of a small team on the Sizewell C project, before joining Fenn Wright in 2026 as Water, Leisure and Rural Assistant, supporting David Ward MRICS, Tom Good MRICS and Caroline Wilman in the Woodbridge office.

Ann-Marie has one daughter who has just finished university and was an elected Trustee of the Adnams Community Trust, a position she held for over 10 years.
