Donald is a Chartered Building Surveyor who provides both private and public sector clients with clear, strategic advice across the full lifecycle of a building.

With extensive experience in building consultancy, he is known for his hands‑on approach, strong technical insight, and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.  His work spans residential and commercial asset management, development lending, technical due diligence, development monitoring, building surveying, dilapidations, project delivery, and wider advisory services that help clients manage risk and maximise the value of their built assets.

Having begun his career in residential leasehold management, Donald continues to support managing agents across the region with both proactive and reactive management of leasehold estates.  He has been involved in a diverse range of projects, from listed buildings and large industrial warehouses, to development sites, strategic land allocations, and housing developments.

Donald lives locally in Colchester and enjoys spending time with his young family, as well as competing in marathons and triathlons.
