Vacancy Details

The Finance Assistant Manager is responsible for the timely preparation of monthly reporting duties across various areas of the firm. The role will also be responsible for credit control and provide resilience across the finance team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised and can demonstrate strong technical analysis skills with experience of applying sound judgement to resolve issues efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Head of Finance with preparation of monthly reporting duties
  • Provide support to the Head of Finance with quarterly variance analysis
  • Quarterly VAT returns – including partial exemption VAT
  • Prepayments and accruals posting
  • Credit control
  • KPI reporting for various areas of the firm
  • ONS reporting
  • Provide cover for Residential and Commercial Management accounts
  • Provide cover for Sales and Purchase ledger work
  • Other ad hoc accounts duties as and when required

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar finance role essential
  • Strong administration experience in a role which has varied demands and requires the ability to assess priority and complete tasks accordingly.
  • English – Maths (Grade A-C / 9-4)
