The fishery is located in the hamlet of Rosehill, approximately 2.5 miles from the town of Market Drayton, 9 miles from Newport and 19 miles from Shrewsbury and Junction 6 of the M54.
The Fishery
Rosehill Lake was originally excavated to provide a water supply for the adjacent corn mill. The lake extends to 5.7 acres (2.3 Ha) with two islands and an average depth of between 5-7ft. The lake is spring fed, with an inlet and outlet providing a near constant turnover of water.
There are 11 purpose built swims. The fishery has the benefit of two angler's car-parks. The current owners have undertaken various recent improvements including a perimeter otter fence, secondary car park and new swims.
Fish Stock
The fish stock within the lake consist of a large head of carp which have now grown to in excess of 30lbs (three known 30lbs+ fish). The average size is around 18lbs to 25lbs, with approximately 300 fish.
Buildings
The fishery benefits from a timber lodge overlooking the water, together with a separate angler's hut, two static caravans, storage container and two compostable toilets.
Income
The fishery is currently operated on a combination of season tickets together with advanced bookings. Income details available upon request.

The lake is registered under the Reservoirs Act, with minor works completed under the most recent inspection. Details available from the agent.
